I like a poem when I’m the author,
yet some other ones are rarely kosher.
I prefer to write it in my way,
No matter who calls it gay.
Bloody stupid arseholes say,
You have to – must – do it this way.
Not show how they perform the task,
and ask you learn it – off by heart.
They want to belittle and ridicule,
try to gain importance by making one more fool.
They want their strength though they have none,
It’s through others work that they get anything done.
They yeald the power to make it so,
what they don’t see, is when they go.
Telling you, warning you that this’s how they think.
This here’s the go to, and this here’s the sink.
I really wanted to talk about raw,
and all the opposites I find on the floor.
Fermented or tame, rotten or ruse.
processed or packaged, peeled or pitted I mused.
Raw has so many useful ways,
I saw some raw honey, so the packing says.
Scolded, burned, clothed or canned,
anything but raw to add butter in pans.
spawned, replicated, egged or so,
may not include the things like raw roe.
Refined, revamped, renewed or repeached,
Are not the raw material constit-u-ents
Faux, fake, filet mignon,
might be easy but might get well done.
Flattened, fattened, featured or fondled,
Raw means raw, the way natured invented.
Soaked, seared, shaped or battered,
all of these things intend to be platered.
Rinsed, reduced, reworked or regerminated,
Ready to be braised be it a broth or being steaminated.
Destemmed, deboned, divided and deseeded,
whereas raw needs our teeth and a will unpreceded.
Washed and wined, wrapped and waiting,
Cooking will start when the tables awaiting.
Ok then, I’ve had my rant,
got done some ideas in the face of a bant’..
So raw is literally my word of the day,
and now I can go find, some other opposite ways.
