Here we are…

Just before Christmas,

AI’s romping,

robots competing.

Happiness is found between the shops,

Where people are standing,

Not as wandering flops.

Searching and thinking,

what goes next,

Where people are working,

at what goes best.

People are hoping,

for some Christmas cheer,

Not the endless rattle,

of oppression and fear.

But seeing santa,

with more crying kids,

Just reminds me,

How deluded I’ve been.

I’ve seen it from a parents place,

a helper an assistant,

and as a witnesses case.

But what I’ll never,

get used to know,

is see people turn into lemings,

Just for something to show.

Married at first sight,

Farmer wants a wife,

Big brother or neighbours,

Oh – its all strife.
