Sometimes I prefer
\na centriffic approach,
\nSometimes I’d prefer
\nto rather emulate a roach.<\/p>\n
Sometimes what’s needed,
\nis direct contact,
\nsometimes its necessary,
\nto give a good smack.<\/p>\n
I can only
\ncount two on me,
\nBoth for my son,
\nthough he wasn’t even three.<\/p>\n
Somehow now,
\nI don’t want to share,
\nbut needless to say,
\nit still stays in the air.<\/p>\n
I just have that
\npanic feel,
\nlike everything’s lost,
\nlike nothing’s real<\/p>\n
I wonder why,
\nI’m even still here,
\nenjoying the water,
\nbreathing in air.<\/p>\n
It wasn’t perfect,
\nbut it was full of grace,
\nSo we’d break up the peace,
\nby starting a race.<\/p>\n
First to the line,
\ngets all the glory,
\nThen everyone will,
\nwant to hear your story.<\/p>\n
But after a while,
\nof win win win,
\neveryone’s out,
\nand that grins wearing thin.<\/p>\n
So we step up the game,
\nincrease the odds,
\nmake it move around,
\ntaste all the sobs.<\/p>\n
Its sick I know,
\nthe way we will work,
\nuntil we discover,
\nlife’s got a quirk.<\/p>\n
Your needs and wants,
\nshould be on the table,
\nwith it fully cleared,
