Its a multiple myeloma,<\/p>\n
cells be the curse.<\/p>\n
Now for DNA replication,<\/p>\n
instead of a hearse.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Chemo,<\/p>\n
and therapy.<\/p>\n
Eating specifics.<\/p>\n
And drugs not for glee.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The pain is awful,<\/p>\n
Feeling like lead.<\/p>\n
unable to lift,<\/p>\n
even ones head.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The isolation,<\/p>\n
and doctor meets.<\/p>\n
Might have be better,<\/p>\n
if not lasting for weeks.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Weeks and months,<\/p>\n
is what it will take.<\/p>\n
Before they know,<\/p>\n
That its ended its freight.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And stop carrying round,<\/p>\n
all those paraproteins.<\/p>\n
Stop making them up,<\/p>\n
bones restoring their seams.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
All those peers, dears and\u00a0tears,<\/p>\n
are a brothers worst fears.<\/p>\n
Only a healthy body hears,<\/p>\n
a brothers hopes gaining gears.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Go fast,<\/p>\n
for fi.<\/p>\n
She can use,<\/p>\n
some more energy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Love you sis,<\/p>\n

Yet their voices give hope,<\/p>\n
for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n

So as long as we bandy together.<\/p>\n
offering hope when and where ever.<\/p>\n
We can get\u00a0through it all.<\/p>\n
pain and suffering were never our draw.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We are the ones,<\/p>\n
who’ve learnt to relax.<\/p>\n
We are the ones,<\/p>\n
who’ve broken our backs.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So after all the work and sweat,<\/p>\n
and after all that you’ve given back.<\/p>\n
It would be more than just a cruel outcome,<\/p>\n
That you were stolen from us – unable to mum’again.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So fasting should,<\/p>\n
give me a mulligan.<\/p>\n
To spend on my sister,<\/p>\n
her health being the only thing.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Her adopted daughter,<\/p>\n
Her loving wife.<\/p>\n
Her beautiful friends,<\/p>\n
who bring great delight.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Her charming smile,<\/p>\n
her engaging action.<\/p>\n
Her gorgeous soul,<\/p>\n
with that selfless inflection.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Her guitar skills,<\/p>\n
her well guarded pets.<\/p>\n
The lovely lawn,<\/p>\n
that she weekly besets.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Old’s,<\/p>\n
willing to talk it out.<\/p>\n
Offering assistance,<\/p>\n
of that there no doubt.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But after each call,<\/p>\n
and before the next.<\/p>\n
They’ll not sleep well,<\/p>\n
until all’s back to best.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So fasting is helping,<\/p>\n
for them to cope.<\/p>\n
They know I care,<\/p>\n
they know I have hope.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I see them woke,<\/p>\n
ready and able.<\/p>\n
fully prepared,<\/p>\n
to fix up the table.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dad’s standing taller,<\/p>\n
Mum’s chirping on.<\/p>\n
They know that were helping,<\/p>\n
Its delaying their gong.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So whenever you want,<\/p>\n
whenever your able.<\/p>\n
I’d love to say hi,<\/p>\n
and rejoice in your capable.<\/p>\n
